Fez

Morocco’s spiritual capital is Fez. Its two largest medinas—Fes el Bali (ancient Fez) and Fes Jdid—are
in the north (new Fez).
The Borj Nord Fort and Bab Boujeloud, a blue–tiled entrance into the old town, are among Fez’s most
prominent attractions. The Moulay Idriss II Medina and Zaouia and Merinid Sultan tombs are also
here.

Marrakesh

Morocco’s southwest royal city Marrakesh is another. The city’s sandstone walls, El Badi Palace, and
Koutoubia Mosque is famous for its architecture. Djemaa el Fna and the Kasbah are famous
marketplaces and squares in this city.

Meknes

Rabat

Rabat is Morocco’s Atlantic coast capital. Its historical landmarks include the Hassan Tower, Chellah

The Moroccan Museum of Archeology and Mohammed V Mausoleum are both noteworthy Rabat
