Agafay Desert Sunset Tour

Agafay Overview:

Several hundred hectares, thirty kilometers south of Marrakech. This stony desert resembles sand. Its white dunes and environment resemble the Desert. A peaceful oasis in the desert supports plant and animals. In the wadis, frogs and turtles coexist happily. Several Berber settlements survive on the dunes.

If you have one day, spend a few hours in a desert.

Afternoon travel takes us west. Even the locals don’t know about it, but some communities do, and for good reason: the colors and remoteness are like the Desert. It seems like a desert with sand dunes but is not.

If you want to see enormous dunes and sand, Merzouga may be reached in three days and two nights.

Itinerary:

Your driver will take you up from your accommodation 3 hours before sunset and proceed to Agafay, where you will reach the stony desert after 45 minutes. Our staff will cordially greet you in the Berber Tent, where we will pick the nicest camels to ride and start your 1-hour sunset camel ride.
Take pictures in the desert and sunlight! Following the Camel Ride, excellent for friends, family, and even the baby! return to Marrakech.
